Chibi Robocop Ver 1.0 (2014)

I am really digging the ver 1.0 armor from the new Robocop movie. It looks classic, but with updates. I'm not that big a fan of the black armor that seems to appear more in the trailers.

I also don't seem to understand a lot of the early hate for the movie. Some people say the original Robocop was littered with social commentary... But when I watched it for the first time many many years ago, all I thought was that it was a sweet action movie with robots.

So if the new movie delivers on that same aspect, I'll most likely enjoy the hell out of it.

Since they just recolored Iron Man to be War Machine in the past... I did the same

But I added some "custom" weapons based on previous versions of his armor.

Iron Man Mk VI from Iron Man 2... the proper color version that actually appeared in the movie, as opposed to the "Mk IV with Triangle Reactor" that appears on most ads and early action figures.

Only the 6inch Hasbro figure, and the Marvel Select figure have gotten the colors right.

More like an edit of the old pic. Figured since I screwed up by adding arm blades on the old one, I'd remove them, and remove the teeth cover at his waist.

Looks better IMO... but essentially a new pic, thus a new post.

It was also the subject of my first livestream drawing session.

Character is an original character from the warriorguyver.com fanfiction, and is based on the design of Yoshiki Takaya's Bio-Booster Armor Guyver.

I assume anyone who clicks on this has sen the Iron Man 2 trailer?

The design is taken from two sources. From the screen shots from the trailer, and from the concept art that has been floating around for months... That they seemed to use for the armor... for the most part. So once a full shot of the armor comes out, it may not be 100% accurate, but at that point I'll be fanboying too much to care

Sgt Forge from Halo Wars this time... The Human badass of the game, who gets some very awesome scenes.

Plus his bronze-ish armor is pretty cool too. Just a shame I covered the chest plate with his arm. Oh well, had to show off the card

The characters, are from Bio Booster Armor Guyver, about volume 16 and on. Guyver 3 aka Agito Makashima most people will reconise, but the girl is formally the young girl named Shizu, who fell in love with him, but now has become part of his greater plan.

Drawn in pencil, inked, scanned, and colored in Photoshop.

Instead of doing the 4 Gundams from 00, I went ahead and just did an opposing pair. First Exia, and then Graham's GN Flag.

That and because I love the Flag design.

Chibi Iron Man 3 War Machine

Am not a big fan of the armors design overall... The armor from IM2's bulkyness and general "tank" feeling was a better idea overall for War Machine. Especially the weaponry. I am still not 100% sure how the arm guns work on this new suit.

Not to say that it is a bad design, I just preferred the bulkier and better armed armor from the second movie.

I've had the lineart done for this one for a least 3 or 4 months... But due to lazyness and issues I was having with certain parts of it, I had given up on it for a while. Found it again this evening, and finished it up.

Iron Patriot re-color coming right away.
